Best Areas to Stay
The city centre around Boulevard Mohammed V and the Hyatt Regency is Casablanca's most convenient base — within walking distance of the Art Deco architecture, the old Médina, and the twin Hassan II Mosque tram stops. The Corniche (Aïn Diab neighbourhood) is Casablanca's beach-and-restaurant district — excellent for families and beach-oriented visitors, though 6km from the city centre and requiring taxis. The Quartier des Habous (the new Médina, built by the French in the 1930s in traditional Moroccan style) is a quieter, more residential alternative with some attractive guesthouses.

Mohammed V International Airport is 30km south of the city — the train (ONCF) connects directly to Casa-Voyageurs station in 35 minutes, making airport transfers straightforward and affordable.
